LA Trip 2016 // Travel

I can't remember how many times my friend Amanda and I would tell each other, "I can't believe this is happening!" while on our adventure in LA. This was the first long distance trip we'd each done by ourselves, and it was such a success. I never dreamed of being able to do such a big trip at this point in my life and I'm so glad I was able to make it happen. Traveling is so important to me; there are so many experiences and lessons learned that come from it. I can't wait to take more trips like this again.

The great thing about California is that you can be at the beach, the city, then the mountains, all in the same day. Every single place we went to was so beautiful and colorful and fun to capture. I made a video of our trip too so be sure to check that out to see more of the beautiful places we visited like Santa Monica, Hollywood Hills, and Malibu. I also did a few mini photoshoots with Amanda throughout the week, so I'll be posting those soon! Until then,

enjoy!

By The Lake

I had been following Sam on Instagram and fell in love with her style so I decided to reach out to her and ask her to model for me! I'm grateful she did and I love that Instagram has worked as such an easy outlet for me to get to know people and grow in photography. Yesterday we went to the lake to shoot some 'summery' photos. Despite the heat, (Sam was a trooper!) I'm SO happy with how these turned out! Sam is so gorgeous, I had a hard time deciding which photos to post because there were so many beautiful ones.

Enjoy!

Ceara // Maryland Portraits

Ceara's been a close friend of mine for a long time, and back in middle school we would have photoshoots almost every time we hung out. Getting to spend the day with her in Downtown Frederick was the perfect opportunity to have her be my model. She's so photogenic and I loved being able to photograph her again!
