Fall is my favorite time and there's nothing like driving through the mountains when the leaves are at their peak. One of my favorite things to do is to go on road trips, especially to the mountains. This past Sunday I got to do that with my friends Noah, Savannah, and Aaron. Our only plan for the day was to make our way to Downtown Asheville, but other than that, the open road was ours. With three out of the four of us being photographers, you can bet we stopped about every five minutes to take pictures on the side of the road to capture the beautiful scenery. There was a lot of running into the middle of the road to get a picture while simultaneously avoiding getting hit by a car! (but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do). The weather was perfect: not too cold, cloudy, (great for pictures) and there was just the right amount of fog drifting through the mountains. I'd freak out whenever we'd turn the curve of the road and see a mountain in front of us with colorful leaves all over it! So so pretty. Being in the mountains during my favorite season and taking photos; I felt completely in my element, and I can't wait to go back.
I love that photography has taken me to so many cool places and I'm excited to go on another adventure like this soon.
P.S. of course course being the music junkie that I am, I had to set the mood with a perfect song to go along. Enjoy :)
